TABLE TOPPERS SLAIN AS MODS' COMPLETE LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE OVER SCARCROFT.

  Scarcroft won the toss & inserted the Mods' who rallied from 7-3, 74-7 and 111-9 to 168 all out in 41.4 overs. Shaun Delaney, batting at 9, led the way with 53 not out, Jimmy Baker contributed 48 at almost a run a ball. Invaluable runs came from the bats of Ants Harrison (19 at no. 8) and Matt Walker (20 at no. 11). Everybody else mustered 13 between them and there were 15 extras. For Scarcroft, Carl Shaw was the pick of the bowlers with 4-53 off 13 overs. 

     In response Scarcroft also had four main men, Carl Shaw topping the knocks with 44. The remaining seven faired worse than our seven, posting a tally of 9 runs between them (13 extras). Scarcroft were all out for 144 (from 96-2) in 42-1 overs. Jimmy Baker took 4-26 off 10, Stu Borrill 3-26 from 10.1
